Chapter 3 Connection to the Students' World

Before you read, think:

Do you allow students time to have their own voices heard?

In the teaching and learning process, how do you include ways in which students can bring in their own experiences to make those "real world" connections?

After you read, respond:

How can your Guided Inquiry approach in the library hook students to be intrisically motivated and incorporate their lives within the curriculum?

What do you need to do to change your Literature Circles into Inquiry Circles?
